Limpet Bowl #LB2

Hand built from stoneware clay this Limpet Bowl has a smooth matt white interior and a carved gritty exterior given a wash of dilute iron oxide and a speckling of dry glazes, before reduction firing to achieve the results I'm looking for.

All my pebble planters and sculptural pieces are made from stoneware clay fired to 1260 degrees centigrade in a reduction kiln, so they are truly robust enough to live outdoors throughout the year.
